Mummy wanted to try a new recipe before our holidays but didn't have the time. We bought the ingredients yesterday and tried it out today. In good timing too, along with our unit on Yellow. However, Faith was having her afternoon nap and didn't see the baking process. Mummy had a little help from Yiyi who was home. We find that it is a little challenging using the muffin tray we have; using individual tartlet pans would be easier to mould and control thickness of the crust.
Overbaked the tarts this time - The first check after 15 minutes showed that the custard need a little more baking. After another 5 minutes and the custard ballooned like a peach tart. Haha. The picture shows the tarts after they have been cooled. Will try to perfect this again soon, cos the Papa loves egg tarts ;)
