Next we headed to her classroom to meet her teachers. There was Mrs Rajan and 黄老师 - both look experiened and were able to engage Faith briefly. What we like about the school was that each class has its own classroom and there were lots of common areas, both indoors and outdoors. Pray that Faith will be able to adjust well and fast in school. The next important step is Potty Training! Arghz!
We've enjoyed our year of homeschool fun but it's time to say Hello to formal schooling. We had her nursery orientation end of last month and I am glad that Faith warmed up to the teachers and environment well. It was a light session with the Principal running through the slides and then to get the uniforms and make payment for the fees for the first term. We've cashed out quite a bit from the CDA account in a single day!

21 November 2016 - Thank God that Didi Edward is growing very well!
For the record, Edwards weighs a hefty 7.52 kg (75%) and measures 66 cm long (90%). We were advised to start him on solids only a month later. That will be just before Christmas! Excited that he'll be able to join us at the table soon! p/s: Ikea highchair is ready for him! :) And here are some random shots... 黄小弟的大头照 and a wefie on "Faith's night" (a night out - just Faith with Daddy and Mummy) And Pink Peppa Pig!!!
Missing in action for a while. Here's some catch-up posts coming up...
Our Christmas tree is up! And this year, Faith is old enough to help in decorating the trees. In line with our MFW unit, we added some pink bears to the tree. ;) Now to get the presents ready! :) |
