And with Christmas around the corner, mummy borrowed some books about Christmas too and we'll be reading them together. Tonight, we read This First Christmas Night and Faith enjoyed it so much that mummy had to repeat the book three times! :)
Maxed out the loan numbers for today's visit with 3 cards! We're at the end of our homeschooling curriculum for the year and mummy decided to borrow all the suggested books at one go for the last two units (on pig and koala). There are just so many interesting and attractive books for the piggy unit, but not that many for the koala. :P

Faith has been doodling for quite some time now and I've just started her on formal pre-writing activities to prepare her for actual school next year. Amazed at how she's able to have the correct grip so naturally without me teaching her. See how serious she is! :)
With mummy preparing for my group work and assignments for Masters course, home learning is still progressing, but slow and steady. This week, we are still learning about White and Sheep. One of the suggested activities was White crayon art. I let Faith doodle on the paper with a white crayon and we painted the entire page with red paint. It doesn't appear very well in the photo but mummy had written Faith's name at the bottom of the page.
And we continued our sticker book to learn more about shapes. Faith always love stickers! And we read the book Sheep in the Ship. Quite an interesting book with rhyming words and there is an easy origami activity (folding a pirate hat- the sheep were pirates on board the ship) at the end of the story and mummy did the folding with Faith helping to crease the folds. The first hat we made with an A4 paper was too small for Faith. Then we made a bigger one with A3 size and it fitted well. New topic with new books which we had borrowed. The new topic is on Sheep, White and Joy!
Other pictures this week: Papa and Mama spending time with Faith alone after dinner on Monday. Papa making funny faces with Faith.
