We thank God for a great day of bridal shoot yesterday.
We started the day by going to Far East Flora to get some flowers for the photoshoot. We had to get a whole big bunch of flowers as they do not sell them in small packs.
We were early for our appointment at 10.30 am. and had to wait a while before the staff arrived. Started make-up and hairdo before 11 am and it was not until after 12 noon when we stepped into the studio. There was another couple on that day, so we had to wait a bit here and there.
It was not until after 4 pm that we stepped out for the outdoor shots. We had a nice uncle to drive us to the 2 destinations: Along Hyderabad Rd and Tanah Merah beach.
I was not feeling well the whole day, especially in the afternoon. I had lost my voice. Urghz! But, I thank God for the people around who took care of me that day, the staff, Bernard and Xian. Reached the studio after 7 pm in the evening and after settling the payment. Bernard had to fetch me to the doctor, in my heavy make-up and hairdo. The doctor even asked if I had just finished a performance. =P
My hair suffered the most for the day, under lots of hairspray as one hairdo and another follows. Pampered it with lots of conditioner yesterday with the advice of our make-up artiste.
Overall, we thank God for blessing us with good weather. We thank God for the talented make-up artiste and photographer with whom we were able to build great rapport.
Here is a preview of some of the photos taken with our own camera. We were not allowed to take any photos in the indoor studio, so here are only the outdoor shots.
At a patch of greenery along the slope of Hyderabad Rd. Here, we sat on a tree stump, played on a swing and ran up and down the slope, with the colonial houses and trees in the background.
Proceeding to the beach at Tanah Merah, where we become the attraction of many.
Gazing into our future together...
There, there we see a plane...
Playing with my veil
Hooray! End of photo-taking. Now we know the hard work of the models and even the photographers.
Thanks to my dearest sister for helping us throughout the day; helping me in the changing of gowns, holding the train of the gowns, carrying all the barang barang etc.
